Gardens, Strawberries, and More

On Tuesday we received four flats of delicious strawberries. So after school that day we cut and put them up. We froze some and made strawberry jam as well. It was so cute, we had just started slicing them and Gracie, who was standing next to me, asked, "What side of this knife is the blade?" LOL! It was so comical, she is standing there trying to cut the strawberries with the wrong side of the knife! It was so innocent.

Our Garden is growing quite nicely. Everything got so big and green so fast. We are having a little bit of a fungus problem but we put some organic homemade fungicide on the plants today. I can't wait to see if it works. The recipe for the fungicide was so easy.
This is a picture of two of are tomatoes. They are so cute!
The other day the kids were outside playing and found a little baby bird by our garden. It wasn't even trying to fly away so the kids decided to catch it. After catching it with a butterfly net they ran inside and asked me to take a picture of it. Henceforth the picture. The bird wasn't injured though, because soon after they took the net of it flew away.

I have really enjoyed landscaping around our house. We planted two rose bushed on either side of our house. I snapped this picture shortly after it had been raining. It was so fun getting the raindrops on the rose in the picture.
