The Past Weekend

This past weekend has been a busy and long one. On Thursday we were all busy packing for our one day trip to the GHEA. Even though it was for just one day it sure took a long time to get ready. We got to our destination late Thursday night. Most everyone went straight to bed. There was a few who stayed up a talked a little longer. ;-) (I won't define the word little! :))

Friday morning we woke up bright and early at 5:45 (a.m.)! If anyone is wondering if there is such a time as five in the morning, yes, there is! We were pretty much on our feet for most of the day. We volunteered at the used book sale this year. My family has done it the last couple years and have always enjoyed it. It is so much fun! The used book sale is such a blessing for us. We purchased a lot of our school curriculum for next school year there. They also have tables upon tables of just reading books which is a lot of fun to look through! :-) After working at the used book sale we went over to the room with all of the brand new stuff! There is always so much to look at. By the end of the day everyone's feet were aching from all of the walking and standing. Everything closed at 5 so we then headed back home. We arrived home late Friday night. It was a really long day!

Saturday, a church by us was having an auction so Ty and I helped out with that. It was, again, a long day with a lot of standing and walking. Even though it was long we really enjoyed helping out.
I am sorry for the lack of pictures in this post but I was really to busy to be snapping a lot of pics. this weekend.
