Recently at our house we have been pretty busy with landscaping. I have been really interested in growing things for quite sometime and since studying botany this past year in school I have really looked forward to landscaping. We aren't experts by any stretch of the imagination and most of us don't have "green thumbs" but hopefully we can get something to stay a live. Any tips? :-)

Along with landscaping we planted our vegetable garden. We planted Tomatoes, Potatoes, Green beans, Squash, Zucchini, Cucumbers, and Peppers. I can't wait to taste the fresh, homegrown veggies!

As our school year draws to a close I am continually looking forward to summer vacation and making a list of things to get done in that time. Sewing and Scrapbooking would be top on the list. Mom, Joy, and I went to Joann Fabrics and got quite a bit of fabric on sale. We defiantly have our hands full! :-)

We have been planning on buying chickens for awhile now and have been working on a chicken shed. Our shed is about finished and so..... we purchased some little Chickens! They are really cute! (at the moment.) ;-)

The other day Gracie was hanging out with Ty (I am not sure what they were doing) and Gracie was talking non-stop. Ty, feeling a need for a little silence, asked her if she could stop talking for a minute. A couple minutes go by and not a word was spoken from Gracie. Then she says, "See I can be quiet if I want to..... I just prefer talking!"
LOL! Oh dear, what a girl she is.
