Girls Camp

Here is another one of the highlights from Nikki and I's trip. These are just a few of the pictures that I took. This is the first Girls Camp for both of us so it was another new experience. We were not sure exactly what to expect and were a little unsure of ourselves but it turned out to be a beautiful weekend.

The "cabin" I was part of was the Pure Desires Cabin. I had two wonderful counselors and nine great fellow campers.

The topic was on Purity this year. Our verse was, "Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye doubleminded." -James 4:8 I really had to think about the doubleminded part. It refers to having more than one desire in your heart. So often the things of this world seem to overtake my thoughts and control my actions. What would happen if I had just one desire and goal in life? What if I was focused on Christ 100%?

It was great to see most all of my friends from a far. An absolutely beautiful weekend that I will never forget.
