Pink, Red, and White!

Okay, so it is a little late to be posting about Valentines Day but it is such a special day that I couldn't just skip over it. For my parents it holds and even specialer meaing because it is their Anniversary. I am so blessed with my parents.

These Valentine Bottles were so much fun to make and really simple. What you do is buy a case of pop in the old fashioned bottles and drink it. Then you spray paint the lids and carrier thing, fill the bottles with pink, red, and white candy, and decorate the box to your liking! We found the idea online and thought it was worth trying.

My dad brought mom home some roses. They are so beautiful!

I love the colors that come with Valentines. Any other time of the year thay aren't quite so beautiful but for some reason they seem to pop during Valentines.

I prefer the older countryer look when it comes to Valentines colors though.

It has been a tradition in our house for as long as I can remember that we bake and decorate heart shaped sugar cookies. Well in the last few years we have done it with some friends of ours. We always make a big mess, decorate lots of cookies, and have loads of fun!

Here is a picture of our finished product.

They have the sweetest little girl. I love her blue eyes.

Here is all of us slaving away.

Can't you just see the exhaustion on our faces? =)

Best Buds.

Happy Belated Valentines Day Ya'll!
