It didn't work out for our family to get together around Christmas time and celebrate so we decided to try for the middle of January. We actually didn't even "have" Christmas then either. Just family time. I must admit it was a lot of fun. We made a lot of memories that week. Everyone in our family was able to make it besides one, Duane. I know I can speak for everyone when I say we thought of him a lot. I am not even sure if you read this blog but if you do I just wanted to tell you that we all love you.

Below is some of the pictures taken during that week. Enjoy!

If only adults were that way.

Dutch Blitz is a favorite of ours.

Like father like daughter. (It is really crazy calling your older brother a father. Kind of makes you take a step back and marvel.)
All the boys in kitchen standing around.
Little man had this fascination with our dishwasher. Every time someone was loading or unloading it he would be over there in an instant "helping."

The cousins played so nicely together. They were so sweet.

Here is the newest memeber of the family, Faith. She was such a sweety but obviously didn't like her picture taken. Her older sister used to be like that too, always making faces.
Gracie had a ball holding her and loving on her. Faith is the only one who lets Gracie hold her anymore. All the rest are always on the "go."
What a cool kid.
And a sad one. Ahhh, just look at that face!

The kitchen held a certain fascination to the little ones. They all loved getting into the drawers and seeing what they could get into.

One of the crafty things we did while together was make a cake with fondant. None of us girls have ever worked with it and it looked like fun. Above is our finished project. It is by no means professional but not bad for a first experience. (I didn't even know what fondant was until a couple months ago) I myself can take no credit for this masterpiece because I was sick on that day. Yes, sick. It was horrible to get sick when family was down. But there really isn't much you can do about it. Thankfully it was only a 24 hour flu. Unfortunatly it was passed around. Before it was over Dad, Mom, Nicole, Daniel, and Jean got it. But such is life.
