I would like to ask Prayer for a family we know. The wife and mother of this family, Becky, went to be with her Savior and Friend Jesus Christ. She had a long, weary road of cancer and the Lord finally called her home. For those of you who never had the blessing of meeting her, she was an amazing lady. She was always serving and doing for others. From the beginning of her cancer she wished the Lord to have all the honor and glory. Her perspective and personality were always optimistic, she was really spunky and determined as well. Becky outlived every ones expectations.
I would like to share one quick story about the family. There are six siblings one lives in CA, one in PA, and four at home. Everyone knew that her time was drawing near and the two girls at home were praying that she would not die on Mother's Day thinking that it would just be so sad if she did. While the brother in CA was praying that she would pass away on Mother's Day thinking that she couldn't have a better gift on Mother's Day than that. Becky went to Heaven at 2ish a.m. our time (a day after Mother's Day) and when they called the boy in CA to let him know he looked at the clock and it was 10ish p.m. his time. When he heard he said, "Yes she died on Mother's Day!"
Isn't God amazing! He answered both of their prayers.:-)
All the family has been doing pretty good through the whole thing. While they will miss Becky greatly they rejoice that her pain and suffering are no more and that she is in a far better place.
