<> Trail of Hope <>

Ty took off this morning on horseback. His destination is HIS Ranch in Taylor, Missouri. Ty has been planning this trip for a long time and dreaming of it for even longer. He has always had a passion about horses and impacting others lives. His deepest desire is that he might impact others for the Kingdom of God. He is on the Trail of Hope. When others ask why he named it that he will be able to share about the Hope we have within us because of the Lord Jesus Christ. He will be able to share about eternal life.
=============
While he has been preparing for this trip for a long time he started pulling it altogether last night. This is the pile of his belongings to strap onto his horses in the morning. Can't forget the twizzlers right?
Ty's morning started early this morning at 2:30 when our neighbor came knocking at our door saying his horses were out. :) With only a little trouble he gathered them into the round pen and left them there for the remainder of the night. I am assuming he also went back to bed. :)
Cash and Jamocha had no idea what lay ahead of them that day.

Ty's departure was set for ten. He said there might be a few people coming over to see him off. But as I did my hair this morning at 9:30 and kept hearing car after car pull into our drive I knew it was more then a few. My heart grew quite overwhelmed with all the support that was given to Ty this morning. It was beautiful.
The packing began. It was more like a 3-d puzzled. Thankfully we had my daddy who is good at that type of thing.
There was many tears shed that morning.
We are learning that sorrow and joy go hand in hand.
It was a last minute decision but a friend of Ty's decided to join him for the first couple days. It is a blessing knowing that someone will be with him as he starts this journey. An answer to prayer.
The neccesties of a true cowboy: chaps, cowboy hat, spurs, horse (of coures), and a big heart.
Once the supplies were all packed we gathered around as Ty's Sunday school teacher read a scripture and then we all prayed.
And then...
They were off on the Trail of Hope.
Our prayers are with him as he follows the Lord's leading. We would ask that your prayers go with him as well. There is a lot of power in kneeling before the King of all kings interceding for a brother or sister in Christ.

Kay, we will pray for Tyler. I'm just so blessed reading this. God will do great things through him. How long will it take him to reach HIS Ranch?
