Winter Visitors

In the beginning of December we had the wonderful pleasure of having a few friends down for a visit. I know that it was about a month ago but I just couldn't not post about it.

We of course put them to work decorating Christmas cookies. :) They did a splendid job of it.

One evening we decided to prepare our dinner in a competition. We first heard of this lovely idea from some friends of ours and have since started doing it at our own home. What we did is we divided into two teams and each team had to prepare two diffent dishes using a citrus of some sort without a recipe.

Here is all of us cooks.

The finished product. Delish!

This here is Team #2.

This here is Team #1. We decided to put our heads together and come up with the best dish. :)

I even took time to take a few cool pictures while they were here.

A few of them decided to try this delicacy. Lets just say they won't be eating it again anytime soon.

While everyone was down we attended Victorian Christmas and managed Ty to dress up for the occasion. Victorian CHristmas is a festival type thing that a local town puts on in December. It takes place in the evening and anyone and everyone is allowed to dress in Victorian stlye. It is a lot of fun.

They were so sweet to give Joy, Thomas, and Grace a few riding lessons. They all thoroughly enjoyed it.

Anyhoo... there you have. :)
