Bible Study

This past Tuesday us girls went to a Bible study. The groups' name is Bright Lights. Bright is an acronym for, Being Radiant In Godliness, Holiness, and Testimony. For more information go too. http://www.tomorrowsforefathers.com/bright_lights/index.htm
Anyways the lesson was on Gratefulness. The main verse was Philippians 2:14-15 "Do all thing without murmurings and disputing: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world."
It was really a challenge for me. When things aren't going my way or it is just "one of those days," do I really find something to be grateful about? Do I look at it as a test from the Lord or do I blame it all on circumstances? Life is 10% circumstances and 90% how we react to them.
Another point stuck out to me was... When someone brightens my day do I take the time thank them? I was really encouraged to write quick little "gratefulness notes" to siblings, parents, and friends when they have touched my life. I don't want to regret not thanking them when they have passed on. I want to thank them now when I have time and let them know just how special they really are.
This has been a challenge to me and I just wanted to share. Thanks.
Kay

I finished doing that bible study and was very touched by it.
About 2 to 3 years ago my mom, Cassidy, and I went to MN. for a Bright Lights conference. What a great time it was!
